Jennifer “Jennie” Taylor Receives Endorsement from the Sandoval County Firefighters Union Local 4563

SANDOVAL COUNTY, NM- Jennifer Taylor, the current Sandoval County Treasurer, in true conduct of a documented Public Servant has received the endorsement of the Sandoval County Firefighters Union Local 4536.

As noted in the endorsement Letter from Firefighter’s Union J. Galvan, Jennifer “Jennie” Taylor was enthusiastically given the endorsement based on her documented dedication to the community of Sandoval County and multiple outreach events over the last three and a half years. The letter stated that, “Many of your outreach events that you have held throughout the County, align with many of the events our Union holds as well. From sponsoring families for Thanksgiving dinners, to essential items to those affected in wildfires. These types of events show that you are here to help the community beyond the calling of being a public servant.”

Recently, Jennie Taylor and the Sandoval County’s Treasurers Office has partnered with the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office, The Torreon, Ojo Encino and Counselor Chapters of the Navajo Nation to distribute more than 1200 Christmas presents to the children of the Navajo Nation. Additionally, as documented in the Rio Rancho Observer (May 25, 2021) organized workers, contractors and projects management to assist a local Bernalillo resident that needed a ramp for a disabled and elderly resident.

Moreover, Jennie Taylor and the Sandoval County Treasurer’s Office has organized multiple food drives and assistance to residents following the recent wildfires in New Mexico. As noted in the endorsement, “The want to help communities is a selfless act and one which represents values of hard work, dedication, commitment and selflessness. We hope that this election year you are successful and continue as Treasurer for Sandoval County, a much-deserved position for you!” Jennie has also proven herself in her first term by having record investment results of County taxpayer funds, zero audit findings and providing a secure and cost efficient measure for disbursement of county money by implementing Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments for the county’s monthly distribution, in lieu of mailing paper checks.
